Developer HoYoverse shared the latest character trailer for turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail. Titled Lullaby, it features Black Swan: a Memokeeper from the Garden of Recollection and the newest limited 5-star character coming to the game in Version 2.0. Being of the Wind Element and walking the Path of Nihility, she is one of the best companions for Kafka and a new Damage Over Time (DOT) based unit.
Black Swan made a number of appearances in the Myriad Celestia Trailers and various videos focused on the new planet, Penacony. A mysterious and elegant soothsayer that bears a warm smile and is willing to patiently heed the words of another, and thus uses such means as a pretext to enter “memories” and gain a comprehension over the flow of all information. Feels strongly about collecting unique memories, yet the thoughts that guide her are hard to glean.
Apparently, Black Swan also likes to scare innocent bystanders and recite mildly creepy poems:
“Sick is the first bunny, sees does the second. Medicine does the third bunny seek, and brew does the fourth. Passed is the fifth bunny, and bears the body does the six. Digging is the seventh bunny, and burying does the eight. To collapse and weep is the ninth bunny, and ask does the tenth. Answers does the ninth bunny: oh, fifth is gone. Gone, and never to return.”
In the previous Myriad Celestia Trailer, Black Swan used her abilities to delve into a person’s memories.
