Every day brings us closer to the new chapter of Honkai: Star Rail. Next stop: Version 3.0 and Amphoreus! With the update introducing the new Path of Remembrance, it’s no wonder that Trailblazer will get to try that Path out for themselves.
Remembrance is a bit of a special case when it comes to HSR. Narratively, it is the Path of memory, both storing and manipulating it. In the Simulated Universe, it revolved around freezing and shattering enemies, applying Dissociation and dealing tremendous damage. Meanwhile, Black Swan, as of now the only playable character from the Garden of Recollection, uses DOTs. So what is it?
As a playable path, Remembrance will revolve around summoning Memosprites, the companions that fight alongside the team’s characters. What sets them apart from already existing summons such as the Lightning Lord and Numby is the fact that they have unique Memosprite Skills and Memosprite Talents.
Memosprites also take independent turns in battle to use their abilities. They can trigger special effects when they appear and disappear. Additionally, they can be targeted by the ally abilities and enemy attacks, both. Attacking or getting hit generates Ultimate Energy for their masters.
Finally, each Memosprite has their own unique personality and abilities.
This brings up to the new version of the Trailblazer – Ice Remembrance. Using this new Path, Trailblazer is a Support character who summons a memosprite called Mem to battle and allows allies to deal True Damage. When fully charged, Mem immediately takes action and allows one ally to immediately take action.
