Developer HoYoverse is back with a new issue of Voice of the Galaxy, the developer radio for Honkai: Star Rail, that introduces upcoming features. The latest one is dedicated to the major update coming to the Simulated Universe. Let’s check it out together!
In the upcoming Version 2.3, the Simulated Universe will undergo a huge update in the form of the “Divergent Universe”. The developers note that it will make grand overhauls to the gameplay, introducing more varied combinations between Blessings, and Curioswill also gain more unique effects.
The Divergent Universe will also become a major research focus in the future of the SU. But worry not, the current version of the Simulated universe will remain the same. If you are not keen on running the newer version, you can stick with what we have right now.
The Divergent Universe will feature the all-new Planar Ornament Quick-Claim function. Additionally, after clearing the Simulated Universe in this mode, Trailblazers can enter the obtained Curios and Blessings into a Save File. The players then can challenge different bosses using this Save File and obtain the corresponding Planar Ornaments. Note that the Save File will reset each week.
Divergent Universe will also have its own rewards, so don’t miss out on free Stellar Jades for playing the mode! This mode also nets the weekly points for the Simulated Universe. Additionally, DU will introduce the “Restart Challenge” feature that lets players replay the current combat. Previously triggered Techniques will also take effect once more.
Honkai: Star Rail – Version 2.3 Features Include:
- New Permanent Game Mode: Apocalyptic Shadow. In this mode, players will face against bosses they’ve defeated before. However, these manifestations will have some slight differences compared to their normal versions.
- Optimizations for Pure Fiction & Forgotten Hall: Memory of Chaos.
- Team Setup Function Optimization for Apocalyptic Shadow, Pure Fiction & MoC.
- Checking out friend’s team lineup for Apocalyptic Shadow, Pure Fiction & MoC, including key stats, Relics, and Light Cones.
