Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official site of turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail to announce that Version 1.2 pre-download is now available. Due to the large size of the load, it is recommended to download while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
To start the pre-download on PC, you have to open the launch and click on the “Game Pre-Installation” button next to “Star Game”. While pre-downloading on PC, Trailblazers can continue to play the game.
When it comes to the mobile version of the game, you need to launch HSR and tap on the “Resource Pre-Download” button in the bottom-right corner of the login screen. While pre-downloading on mobile devices, Trailblazers are unable to play the game.
“Trailblazers must download the entire pre-installation resource pack when pre-installating version 1.2 on mobile platforms. The pre-installed resources will not take effect otherwise. We are optimizing this process in future updates.”
Version 1.2 maintenance will begin on July 19th at 06:00 (UTC + 8) and will run for approximately 5 hours. During the maintenance, players will not be able to log into Honkai Star Rail. The usual maintenance compensation will be distributed to all eligible recipients after the update.
