DeSand has announced that it is working on a new hybrid RTS/RPG game called Lands of Raynar. The game is still in development but is planned for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X in 2022.
The game delivers a number of familiar features including:
- an intriguing storyline
- knowledge system mechanics
- an open world to explore
- a robust single-player experience
- possible multiplayer options
- blended RTS and RPG elements
The game sets players into the shoes of Karia, one of the last denizens of her homelands. She is accompanied by a “mystical fawn” named Ivy. Their goal is to “discover the dark past, mysterious objects, and the mythical creature known as Morri that plays a major role in the story”.
