Hyenas Alpha 1.10 is set to light up your weekend with an explosive smash and grab experience, and sign-ups are open now.
Creative Assembly, the team behind Total War, is inviting players to a new Hyenas test this weekend. The upcoming smash and grab team based shooter will begin the latest sampling of chaos on 2 December at 4 PM ET / 11 AM GMT / 12 PM CET and will keep on exploding everything until 4 December 4 AM ET / 12 AM GMT / 1 AM CET. Hyenas Alpha 1.0 is the best opportunity for players to get an up close and personal glimpse of a vivid new entrant into the co-op shooter arena that had us making grabby hands at this year’s initial announcements.
For those that missed the very first mention of Hyenas, this new Sega powered adventure into the future is different to your traditional looter shooter. Thrust into the periphery of a dying planet, where the uber elite have left us all for space habitats, a few brave souls scratch a living trying to aid the remnants of Earth’s cultural heritage. We’re not talking Van Gough’s and Monet’s here. Instead, you’ll be diving into pop culture filled vaults caught up in zero gravity. This isn’t a simple heist of your local Target either. Alongside puzzles and security systems, you’ll be racing to blow away other teams of pop culture pirates or just blow them out an air lock.
Like plenty of other hero based titles, there are tons of charismatic characters, unique abilities, and quick one liners but Hyenas has a swagger and some iconic branding that might make you stop and take notice.
