Hyper Light Breaker dropped a big boss trailer and details of a special Early Access pack.
The Early Access release of Hyper Light Breaker is coming soon, and Arc games just gave us all a peek at the future of this stylish franchise. The publisher behind the Hyper Light sequel and developer Heart Machine released a new teaser, revealing the first three characters and two bosses that you’ll encounter when the Breakers take to battle. They also confirmed that Steam Early Access adventurers will get a free copy of Hyper Light Drifter when they pick up the new title.
The latest trailer for Hyper Light Breaker features three unique Breakers. Vermillion, Lapis and Goro all head out into the action with their own distinct Sycoms companion. Every combination of character and robot companion provides the baseline for a Breaker’s build as they enter a roguelike world and hunt down humongous bosses. These crowns are also featured. Dro and Exus bring their own talents to the battle and aim to snuff you out before heading on to take down one last challenge. If all this talk of Brakers and Crowns is a bit new, don’t worry. Anybody excited for the neon-tinged action can take on the first Hyper Light Drifter to experiecne the first in this series. Anybody picking up Early Access on Steam will get a copy of Hyper light Drifter for free. This applies to gamers who do not already own the title in their Steam library and gives breakers a chance to try out a captivating indie action-adventure game that melds a mesmerizing pixel art style and challenging gameplay. Developed by Heart Machine, the game takes players on a journey through a haunting world filled with secrets and danger. Players assume the role of the Drifter, a silent protagonist armed with advanced technology and swordsmanship skills, as they explore a beautifully crafted, interconnected world teeming with hostile creatures and environmental puzzles. The game’s non-linear structure and minimalistic storytelling encourage players to uncover the narrative through environmental cues and visual storytelling, giving it a unique feel among its peers.
If you’ve never seen the unique world of Hyper Light, then this is a great opportunity to experience it before taking the role of a Breaker, a mercenary tasked with entering the Overgrowth. Bringing the Abyss King into 3D and keeping the action uniquely rooted in this series is a huge task, but we’re all hoping Early Access is a chance for something special to evolve.
