Open world Hyper Light sequel, Hyper Light Breaker, is set to come to Early Access on 14 January 2025!
Arc Games and Heart Machine have confirmed that players looking to tread the Light Fantastic can team up and bash some skulls in Hyper Light Breaker during January. After pencilling in a Fall window, a brand new trailer dropped last night confirming the January date. Players eager to test themselves in this blistering new adventure leap into Steam Early Access on January 14, 2025, for £24.99 / $29.99 or local equivalent.
The new trailer gives players a small slice of the action that’s coming to PC screens next month, but it looks fantastic. Aside from the bright colors and brand new perspective, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hyper Light Drifter will be able to try their luck and navigate the ever-changing worlds within the Overgrowth. Hack, slash, die, and retry as hordes of enemies arrive to hinder any would be hero. Recruit some help and team up with friends to take on a constantly changing challenge. Discover a wide arsenal of weapons, items, and upgrades along the way. Navigate challenges using a mix of dynamic movement options, including wall-dashing, hoverboards, gliding, and more, all while uncovering more about a fractured world.
