Do you like Japanese Pop music? So do I, kids! I’m hip and cool! Also, iam8bit just announced the absolutely massive Persona 5 soundtrack release on vinyl, for those of you who are not only hip and cool, but hipsters and cool. Look, I tease because I’m jealous. These days I’m happy if I hear Chicago on the FM radio. Anyway, details below courtesy of IGN. This seems to be one hell of a Persona 5 vinyl soundtrack collection.
The six-LP Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack will be a limited pressing of only 1,000 units and will feature 110 songs from Persona 5’s soundtrack and will be available for $175.
Separately, iam8bit also revealed a four-LP “Essential Edition,” featuring a “track listing curated by Atlus Sound Team, including P5’s most popular music,” according to the product listing. That version will retail for $100.
Artwork for both versions is under wraps for now, but iam8bit says it’s “the result of an intimate collaboration between iam8bit, Atlus, SEGA and a to be announced, top secret artist” and will be revealed at a later date.
