Idol Manager, the darkly comedic business management sim is set to take the stage when it launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in just a few days.
Prepare to make dreams come true and elevate a group of eager performs to stardom across Nintendo Switch and PlayStation platforms soon. Idol Manager, the business sim set in the Japanese Idol industry is set to make an entrance on 25 August. developer Glitch Pitch and publisher PLAYISM, have dropped a brand new trailer ahead of the first song, to give potential music moguls a look at what they’re getting themselves into.
Players picking up this popular title, will be expected to scout talent from a steady stream of auditions. Managers will form idol group, pick a line up, hand craft the right look, and launch the newest hit band on the scene. Once a band is assembled, it’s up to management to make sure they get along, tweaking interpersonal relationships, and every aspect of an idol’s life to ensure that harmony is achieved. It’s up to you to ensure success at any cost, whether that’s playing favorites or playing up rivalries. Remember that even bad publicity puts bands on the front page. While it might have a similar tongue in cheek take s the hugely successful Two Point series, it hs a tone all of its own.
With tons of stats to change, a huge roster of vocalists and performers, and lots of unfortunate scandal waiting in the wings, this visual novel turned management sim is an upbeat lampooning of the otherwise kawaii JPOP industry that might hit enough high notes to keep you entertained when it begins a console tour. You can find out more on the official Steam Store page, where idol manager is already available, or put in a pre order at the Nintendo Switch Store for £20.99, $24.99 or local equivalent.
