Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, the adorable slice of life sim just announced an immense Early Access update with tons of extra content.
Available right now on PC, via Early Access, the newest addition to Ikonei Island provides plenty of new activities for fighters, farmers, crafters, and explorers in this wholesome sim. At the core of the content add on is the local wildlife. Creature care is now obviously more exciting with the addition of the Huge Creature Pass. This allows players out on the isle to track and tend to their creature’s needs. Whether that means bathing, feeding, or more, eager farm hands will be able to ensure their steeds say happy and healthy at all times. Longhorn charges are also open to command, with a variety of other creatures available to befriend too, allowing players to use their unique abilities to explore every corner of Ikonei.
When out in the wild, there’s even more to do thanks to the latest crafting changes. Faring and rafting now allows citizens of this new homestead to wield new tools. Shovels and Fishing rods open up an opportunity to better use and gather resources, while seed pods now allow players to craft their own seeds and fruit.
Player housing and customization is update inside and out too. Angled Tiling will let players better control over garden and farmland, while new ‘outdoor’ themed placeables adding exciting new flair to the island. Whether you build a treehouse, place a tent, or chisel out a cave is up to you.
This is only start of the changes, with tons of items, options, and a wealth of tweaks added to make the overall game better for everyone.
