The developers from SunSpear Games have shared the cinematic trailer titled “Advent: Part One” for the free-to-play strategy Immortal: Gates of Pyre. Cut from the larger “Advent of the Gates” cinematic, the scene above marks the re-awakening of the oldest gate on the planet Shael. The Old-Ways-between-Worlds are open once more, and soon, there will be war.
In the turmoil of this age, you assume the role of an Immortal to command battles for your nation. Capture resources, build bases, train armies, and lay siege to ancient strongholds to secure the future of your people. Each faction embodies the might of a nation, offering distinct strengths. Take to the field with unique soldiers, beasts, war machines, or angels at your command.
The game is currently going through its Kickstarter campaign. The team sought to raise $31.3k for the project, and so far over 1200 backers have pledged over $107k, with 27 days still to go.
