Impressive New AOC Agon QD-OLED Monitors Coming in September

AOC has confirmed that its newest Agon QD-OLED gaming monitor range will bring the Agon Pro AG276QZD2 and AG326UD to stores in September 2024.

Monitor manufacturer AOC is set to expand its lineup of impressive QD-OLED displays with the brand new AG276QZD2 and AG326UD. First revealed at Gamescom 2024, these two new panels will bring us a wide range of options and some crystal-clear pictures when they land in storefronts and desktops during September. The new additions to the Agon Pro range stand apart from the curves of the Porsche Design Agon Pro PD49, packing in flat screen panels, incredible colors and, deep blacks, and high refresh rates for a price that might not be too outlandish.

QD-OLED

Both the AG276QZD2 and AG326UD feature Quantum Dot OLED tech that excels beyond the color and clarity of already great OLED displays. The 3rd generation QD-OLED panels in each option both monitors feature 10-bit colour depth, displaying 1.07 billion colours across the board. They also clock in VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and some support for a peak brightness of 1000 nits across small areas.

Again, both options come with plenty of gamer aesthetic. You’ll find a borderless design, aggressive lines, and the AG276QZD2 even includes customisable Light FX RGB illumination.

Prices and Performance

Aside form a solid set of colors, these monitors look like they are catering to different gamers and budgets. The AG276QZD2 will cost £649.99 for a QHD (2560×1440) resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate. 2x HDMI 2.0, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, and 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports hide in the back, while the AG326UD offers 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, and 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbit) ports.
