This massive crossover event has a lot to do with Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, according to an exclusive Entertainment Weekly article. Just like so many of us, the pair are massive fans of the game, even announcing the crossover with their own teaser trailer.
After a little light internet outreach, Epic and the Russo brothers came up with an immense idea. Players will enter Battle Royale as normal, but whoever finds the Infinity Gauntlet will become the mad titan, Thanos. This transformation comes with all the expected power the six stones provides and a trail of carnage to boot. We do not know much more about the specifics of these powers but expect them to be appropriately overpowered. If you think you have it in you to Balance Tilted Towers, then the Infinity War mashup comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and mobile platforms tomorrow.
