On March 5th, Ubisoft will be releasing an original short film in the world of Far Cry 5 entitled Inside Eden’s Gate.

Produced by Asylum Entertainment, Inside Eden’s Gate will follow three vloggers fascinated by rumors of abductions in Hope County, Montana by The Project at Eden’s Gate. As the vloggers talk meet with a local contact, stance events begin to unfold. Their investigation of the doomsday cult and trail of missing persons leads directly to The Father himself: Joseph Seed.

Inside Eden’s Gate features the talent of Kyle Gallner (American Sniper) and Greg Bryk (A History of Violence). Bryk is the same actor who portrays the charismatic leader of the Project at Eden’s Gate within Far Cry 5.

“At Ubisoft, we always strive to build worlds and narratives that actively engage our consumers both in and outside of our core gaming experiences,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of marketing and consumer experience, Ubisoft. “Our partnership with Asylum Entertainment provided a unique opportunity for the team to work with top-tier acting talent in Greg Bryk that bridges the consumers’ experience from the short film to the game.”

Inside Eden’s Gate will be available on Amazon’s Prime Video Direct service.

Born in the heyday of mullets and the El Camino to a tech-foward family, Damien (a.k.a. Dame, PastorDame) quickly embraced the reality that “normal” is just a setting on a dryer. Damien is a pastor by trade and loves talking with anyone who is interested about life, God, and video games (in no particular order) - so, much so, that he and fellow MMORPG/GameSpace writer Matt Keith (Nexfury) create a podcast dedicated to that conversation. At the end of the day, Damien is a guy who loves his wife, his Mini Schnoodle, and crafting gourmet bowls of Mac N’ Cheese.
