It’s Time To Test Out The Dysterra Closed Beta

Dysterra, the sci-fi survival experience from Kakao Games and Reality Magiq has kicked off a closed beta test.

Following on from alpha tests earlier in the year, Kakao Game’s new sci-fi survival experience Dysterra is now in closed beta. Fans of FPS and action RPGs might find this new adventure is an attractive entry into survival sims, while the closed beta test runs between now and 20 July. Anybody wanting to grab some time in game will find that the entry requirements aren’t hard. All you’ll need is a PC capable of supporting a gorgeous backdrop and the ability to click the ‘Request Access’ button on the official Steam Store page. If you’re wondering exactly how powerful your PC need to be for this testing phase, the recommended requirements are below

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 3600x
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

The new beta test will introduce a bunch of expanded features and fixes to Dysterra, including a new team system, an expanded world, a reworked UI, and a single player beginner mode. If you’ve not heard of Dysterra, this new sci-fi survival action game throws players into a dystopian future where exiled individuals are forced to collect a rare mineral. This Terrasite is the key to building your own base, crafting tools, and constructing weapons to survive a hostile world. Featuring fast paced FPS combat, a huge variety of melee and ranged weapons, and multiplayer boss raids, this new closed beta certainly looks like this mix of Rust and Destiny might very well have a new niche in the survival market.
