EA has announced that EA Sports PGA Tour has received its largest update yet and is packed with a host of new content. Among other things, golf legend Jack Nicklaus is now in the game alongside four new courses, a new season, gameplay improvements, and a plethora of bug fixes. Let’s check it out.
Patch 12.0 Notes
- Four New Courses are available in Quick Play and Private Match, as well as in Online and Tournament playlist rotations.
- Valhalla Golf Course from Louisville, KY, is a modern course that will host the 2024 PGA Championship.
- Pinehurst No. 2 from North Carolina. It has hosted more golf championships than any other course in North America and will be the host of the 2024 US Open Championship.
- Royal Troon from Scotland. This course offers players challenging wind conditions, deep bunkers, large greens, and undulating fairways.
- Augusta National Par 3 Course from Georgia. This course will celebrate Masters Week.
- Jack Nicklaus, aka The Golden Bear, is now in the game. He brings powerful drives, precision iron play, and exceptional putting ability. Over his career, he won 18 major championships, including the Masters six times.
- Challenges Mode has been updated with two new challenge series.
- Drive, Chip, and Putt offer a peek into the junior golf competition.
- The Jack Nicklaus showcases his history, including some of his best rounds ever.
- The Season 11 Pro Pass offers players a way to earn new spring-themed cosmetics and classic looks. Players can take home the ’65 Masters Ball Spec and much more.
- Starting April 4th, the game will be available for all EA Play members and can be purchased with all progress retained.
