Warframe will get a new cinematic update called jade Shadows, coming to PC and console in June 2024.
Devstream 176 from the Digital Extreme’s team concluded over the weekend, giving Tenno a good long look at the new update that hangs off in the distance. Jade Shadows will add another twist to the online adventure of Warframe when it comes to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Mobile platforms. The latest update will introduce a tale of love, loss, and sacrifice and a familiar face for this single-player narrative Quest.
The recent stream took a look at the content we can expect in June, with the return of one of Warframe’s most infamous legacy characters, the Stalker. After the collapse of the Orokin Empire, he swore vengeance on the Warframes who destroyed it. After appearing in the first ever Cinematic Quest known as The Second Dream, you’ll now be able to face them again and uncover long kept secrets. The 57th Warframe will also arrive in June, adding the song of devastation, Jade.
Alongside the new narrative update, the latest stream introduced another Warframe. Prime form of the ultimate protector Warframe, Protea, appeared. You can get a look at the latest incarnation of this popular Warframe above, while we got a small snippet and some concept discussion around the content coming in the widely anticipated Warframe: 1999.
Further detail on Warframe: 1999 will drop during Tennocom 2024. The latest fan focused celebration of everything Warframe will go live on 20 June, and the Devstream wrapped up with a look ahead to this in person and digital event. While Blizzcon might be off the cards, people on the show floor at the Warframe convention will get early access to merch booth operations and badge pickup as well as a 1999-themed celebration with free victuals and a special guest DJ. It’s best you take a look at the Devstream to check out what’s coming to Tennocon and find out ore about the Jade Shadows update before vengeance arrives in Warframe.
