Join The Zombie Squad in Wanted: Dead as110 Industries announce a brand new Sci-Fi action adventure for PC and Console.
Jus announced with a high octane new trailer and due to blast its way onto PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in the future, Wanted: Dead is just the latest take on processing power gone wrong in a new sci-fi dystopian tale. Sidestepping the open world RPG elements of something like Cyberpunk, Wanted: Dead is s a gun-totting action shooter somewhere between the likes of Platinum’s Vanquish and Devil May Cry.
Players stepping into the future assume the role of Lt. Hannah Stone, leader of the “Zombie Squad”, an elite team who work outside the purview of the traditional police force. While many more traditional police might require a good manner and a doff of the cap, this team stalk the streets of a sci-fi Hong Kong with a range of explosive weapons and some visceral melee combat manoeuvres. There’s obvious inspiration taken from Platinum Games’ range of experiences, with a thumping soundtrack, slow-motion sequences, and a limb-severing mechanic all present in early footage from Wanted: Dead.
While we don’t know a huge amount about the way Wanted: Dead will unfold or the way this combat system will handle, we do know 110 Industries are all about the action.
