The Switch Store has a great deal for players today with the release of Kamiko. The retro-styled arcade-like game comes in at a cool $5 as well as with an English language option right off the bat.
Kamiko – What is it?
According to Polygon, the game “combines traditional Japanese Shintoist values with arcade-style action”. Add in some nifty retro-styled graphics and fast paced action and you have a surefire hit.
Players take part as priestesses who are part of a group for which the game is named. It’s up to the players to fight through demons as well as solve puzzles. This is done in order to unseal gates on each level in order to progress.
Nintendo itself describes the game as, “Another fun and easy original created by indie games Skipmore”.
