Keep Playing All Night Long During SMITE 2 24/7 Closed Alpha Testing

Who Needs sleep? SMITE 2 24/7 Closed Alpha testing is live this week.

Get ready to battle the gods and probably chug plenty of your favorite energy drink. The SMITE 2 Closed Alpha servers are open and available to play 34/7. Hi-Rez flipped the switch one the latest round of testing just recently and you players looking to try their luck at the cutting edge of MOBA action can try their luck whenever they like, or at least any time of day.

While previous tests have allowed the team building this new installation in the SMIT pantheon to test out the gods and their arenas, the longer-term testing is set to delve into areas such as player progression and ranked matches, and to address any issues that arise from persistent play sessions. It’s focused on testing and iterating these new systems.

In addition to the new opening hours, players will see two new playable characters in the arena this time around. Mordred, the Breaker of the Round Table, is a brand-new God joining the Arthurian pantheon. Clad in heavy armour, but scarred grievously, this dark knight introduces a unique combat style with one of his swords focused on Strength and another – on Intelligence. Jing Wei is a figure from Chinese mythology, a princess reborn as a bird. In SMITE 2, Jing Wei is a versatile shooter who excels at hunting enemies from a distance, dodging attacks, and quickly returning to the battlefield from the base.

SMITE 2 is the newest entry in this long running franchise. Brining familiar gameplay systems, reworked visuals, new concepts, and more engaging gameplay into the SMITE world, it’s an attempt to make the entire game ready for the next generation of gaming. If you’re looking to get in early on the new era of SMIT, then grabbing a Founder’s pack is the way to do it. SMITE 2 Founder’s packs are available for around $29.99 or local equivalent on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Epic Games Store. Find out more and join the SMITE 2 24/7 Closed Alpha via the official website.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
