KFC is about to prove that there is more than one dating sim with wings this year as it announces a fully-fledged KFC Dating Sim.

If you thought that Hatouful Boyfriend was the only dating sim with wings or our Doom Vodka news was the strangest gaming tie in this week then you’re about to be proved very wrong. Chicken lovers everywhere can rejoice as the Colonel announces a brand new entry into the dating sim market. That’s right, chicken fast food joint Kentucky Friend Chicken has announced plans for a fully-fledged dating sim featuring none other than the Colonel himself. Called I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator, the sim is an anime love letter to the chicken loving franchise and seems to sit somewhere between Dream Daddy and Food Wars.

“I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator follows you, a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders. Throughout your journey, you’ll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love. But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters’ feelings at stake..”

Developed by Psyop and delivered by KFC, obviously, it looks like this game will include a whole host of features and potential outcomes, including romancing the Colonel. The game features all the usual romantic intrigue, cooking, and other exciting additions, such as:

– 9 lovable characters
– Multiple hours of play-through
– Dateable Colonel Sanders
– A secret ending! Shh!
– Secret recipes! Double Shh!
– Cooking battles
– Battle battles
– Earn a degree from a fictional culinary school
– 11 Herbs and Spices
– Cute miniature food
– Officially created by KFC. No, really

We’re not entirely sure how we feel about it and I’m still scrambling to find out more information on this awesome new title. The title is coming to PC gamers via Steam, assuming it’s not all a joke on our part. Until then I suppose the next best thing we can do is go google some Sanders San fan art. you can keep up to date on this sim over at the official Steam Store Page.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
