Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Gameplay Trailer Shows Off The Finesse Path

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning just dropped a brand new trailer and it gives us all a glimpse into the gameplay of this upcoming sword and shield adventure.

Set to swing onto PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 ion just around a week, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a return to 2012’s Kingdoms of Amalur with a gorgeous modern upgrade. Published b THQ Nordic, this re-imagining of the original only broke cover earlier this year and already looks set to give players all the same depth of choice that the earlier hit RPG did.

Finesse

The new gameplay trailer for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning doesn’t just show off the graphical upgrade you can expect for a modern title. It also delves into the paths available to players. Three distinct paths are available for heroes taking on this new interpretation of Kingdoms of Amalur, and the new gameplay trailer focuses on Finesse. If you wouldn’t hesitate to stab your enemy in the back, then Finesse is for you. Accessing a wealth of daggers, Fae-Blades, and bows, warriors can silently take on and defeat enemies with overwhelming quantities of precise damage. This Finesse path also provides players with traps, bombs, poison, or other elements that would fit the roguish charms of a well-trained assassin, all critical for your success in a hostile world of myth and magic.

While we won’t see any of the other paths available to players in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, players who have already experienced the original’s vast array of skills, abilities, weapons, and armor choices won’t be particularly surprised by the customization options on display. With DLC from the original game, a vast sprawling world, and a vast lore that comes straight from bestselling author R.A. Salvatore, it is unlikely that gamers heading back into Amalur will be finished with this shiny new version of the title quickly.
