Serenity Forge shared the release date of their platformer project The King’s Bird. The game will be available through Steam on August 23.
Escape into a world kept secret by a tyrant, and discover the truth about your freedom. The King’s Bird is an artistic, momentum-based game that seamlessly combines precision-platforming with physics-based gliding.
The developers let us know that three most important things in the game are flight, flow and freedom. The events of The King’s Bird take place in five unique worlds inspired by ancient Mayan, Southern Asian and Roman cultures. Make sure to explore them through and through to get enough of the vibrancy and colourful silhouettes.
The background music and sounds dynamically chance based on your movements.
