The Knockout City team has cooked up some sizzling summer fun with the announcement of the Heatwave mid-season in-game event. Heatwave will take place from June 22nd to July 5th with a 24/7 live stream running for the duration.
During Heatwave, players will be challenged to collect Ice Pops hidden throughout all of the game’s maps. These can be used to unlock some cool summer-themed items like an Ice Creat Truck glider or a new intro pose showing them lounging on a beach chair sipping a cool beverage. Players can also earn Heatwave Tickets that can be used in the Event Shop. Players that complete all the Heatwave contracts will unlock the Legendary Ultimate Hologram, the Fire Hydrant.
New playlists will also become available, including:
- June 22 – Party Face-Off
- 1v1, ALL Special Balls
- Classic Face-Off Rules: Danger Zone, no border warnings, etc.
- June 29 – Triple Team Chaos
- 2v2v2 team free-for-all
- First team to 15 KOs wins
