The Last Remnant Remastered Is Coming to PS4 On December 6

Square Enix is preparing to release The Last Remnant Remastered for PlayStation 4.  The game will launch simultaneously across the globe on December 6th. The Remastered version will include all of the content released for the original game.

The Last Remnant was originally released in 2008. The events of the game take place in a fantasy world inhabited by four races: mitra, yama, qsiti and sovani. All of them use Remnants, the artefacts of unknown origin from another era.

The powers of the Remnants slowly began to change the world’s balance.
A rift slowly formed between those who ruled and those who obeyed.
This was the dawning of a new era — an era of countless frays that would be brought upon the world by those enslaved by their own lust for power.
A thousand years later, the journey of one young man begins.

Square Enix has discontinued the digital and physical sales of the classic version of The Last Remnant on PC, including Steam. There is currently no word from Square Enix if the Remaster is planned for PC.
