SelectaPlay, in partnership with Chorus Worldwide Games, has announced that ht enigmatic adventure in 1980’s Japan The Last Time I Saw You, will get a physical release this month. Just in time to buy for yourself or to give away to the household Otaklu, this gorgeous narrative adventure will hit store shelves all wrapped up in a fitting fine format. Coming to PlayStation and Switch, the limited physical Standard and Collector’s Edition will be released across European stores any day now.
While the exact release date will vary based on the country and retailer, we know what you’ll get. A nostalgic tale will join protagonist Ayumi on an exciting tale of self-discovery. Take the first tentative steps into adulthood and confront the terrible curse that has fallen upon his hometown. An enchanting forest with a haunting secret hangs in the background. NPCs and characters with their own rich story await, and an intriguing tale of friendship and lost love unfolds after you unbox the new version.
While the standard edition comes with the physical media and appropriately cute cover art, the Last Time I Saw You Collector’s Edition includes the full physical copy of the game, an exquisite art book, and manual, three laminated postcards, a set of 20 premium cards featuring the main characters, the official soundtrack on a vinyl inspired CD, and a printed envelope containing a set of die-cut stickers all housed in a special collector’s box.
