Riot Games, the developer of MOBA League of Legends, is back with the epic cinematic for Season 1 of 2025. Titled ‘Welcome to Noxus’, it features music track “Bite Marks” by artist TEYA, and focuses on many beloved characters at once over its 5-minute length.
In addition to Darius and Trundle duking it out, the cinematic also shows Katarina, Elise, Le Blanc, Vladimir and Arcane’s Mel Medarda, all drawn in that unmistakable Fortiche-style. Visual revamps of Noxus champions when?
It is especially hard-hitting when you see Mel standing on the same beach from Ambessa’s official music video “Blood, Sweat & Tears”.

Starting with “Welcome to Noxus,” in 2025, League of Legends will implement a new seasonal structure, introducing three seasons across the year, each lasting around eight patches (16 weeks) that center around a unique theme and connect to an overarching narrative.
