Leap, the sci-fi themed squad shooter from Blue Isle Studios is about to jump headlong into action as the squad based sci-fi shooter kicks off Early Access on 1 June.
After opening up the doors for a public test at the start of May, Blue Isle Studios has announced that this slick looking mix of tactics, skill, and explosive action is about to arrive on PC in just a couple of weeks. Players picking from one of four unique classes and joining up to 60- other players in some huge and contentious encounters as either the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the rebel Exo-Terrans .
Along the way both factions will be able traverse the massive arenas sing an inventive grappling hook, jetpacks, and other outrageous vehicles. When an enemy is located each exosuit can unleash game changing abilities, calling in an Orbital Laser to wipe out a group of enemies, or throw down a Support Shield to take temporary cover from enemy fire.
If the idea of getting a nigh powered orbital strike on the line is appealing, then you’ll want to sign up for a new Open Beta test. Running from 20-22 May and in partnership with GPortal, this is possibly the last chance to take a free ride, grab a jetpack, and stare down the scope as you clear out waves and waves of enemies. Check out how to grab a space in the upcoming test or watch out for more on the Early Access launch over on the Steam Store page now.
