Lego Builder’s Journey Brings Charming Brick Tales To PS4 and PS5

Lego Builder’s Journey is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Originally launched as an Apple Arcade title back in 2019, the diminutive building project followed up with a port onto PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox not long after. Now, it is out now on PlayStation platforms. Fans of the iconic plastic toy can pick up this wonderful puzzler for around $19.99 or local equivalent over at the PlayStation Store, although it might be worth considering that this isn’t your average Lego adventure.

Taking the iconic plastic tactile experience and slotting it onto a digital platform might be something that Lego games have managed with seeming ease of late, but this time its less of a comedic family adventure. The PlayStation trailer that accompanies the release shows off a game that is closer to Lego Bricktales than the recent Skywalker Saga. Ditching pop culture tie ins, this time around players simply need to build a bridge or fix some stairs. This might not sound like much, but the mix of a realistic aesthetic and a relaxing distraction from the rest of reality makes this an almost contemplative experience.

Players who haven’t already got their brick fix can head over to the official PlayStation Store now.
