LEGO DC Super-Villains Official Trailer And Release Date!

Lego DC Supper-Villains

Yesterday LEGO released an official LEGO DC Super-Villains Teaser Trailer. The video showed us a Superman statue with a touch of makeup added and chattering teeth. We were guessing that the Joker would play a big part in the story and that perhaps Metropolis might be in the game as an explorable region. LEGO warned us that “Chaos is coming!” Today Lego released an official announcement trailer with that “chaos” on display! LEGO DC Super Villains is coming October 16, 2018, on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC!

It seemed like only a matter of time before LEGO put a spotlight on the villains of either DC or Marvel. Based on the short announcement trailer this looks to be a lot of fun. We can only hope that LEGO also has their sights on a Marvel counterpart in the future!

About LEGO DC Super-Villains

Embark on an all-new LEGO adventure by becoming the best villain the universe has seen in LEGO DC Super-Villains. For the first time, a LEGO game is giving you the ability to play as a super-villain throughout the game, unleashing mischievous antics and wreak havoc in an action-packed, hilarious story written in collaboration with DC Comics. Set in an expansive, open world experience within the DC Universe, the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to their counterparts from a parallel universe, who have proclaimed themselves as the ‘Justice Syndicate’. Sometimes, it takes more than a superhero to get the job done and it’s up to the player and a crazed group of misfits to uncover the intentions of Earth’s new, strange, wannabe superheroes. Joined by renowned super-villains: The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Killer Frost, Sinestro, and countless others from the Injustice League, you’ll get to set out on an epic adventure to ensure their villainy remains unrivalled.
