Neowiz just announced a bunch of new at Summer Games Fest, including a new demo and physical editions ahead of the September release.
Lies of P has been stringing along gamers for long enough. It’s time to get hands on with this Grimm styled Souls styled title. The upcoming mix of dark fairytales and hardcore content is coming to your PC and console on 19 September. Players across PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will get a chance to explore the city of Krat. A once beautiful place, it is now a living nightmare as deadly puppets run amok, and a plague sweeps the land.
The latest trailer for Lies of P gives us a look at what to expect. Gorgeous artwork and visceral action combat dominate up above, but there’s no need to just sit and consume. Players can get their hands dirty and take on the role of P in a new demo. Playing as a human form puppet, players will pull P’s strings and guide them through a series of unforgiving challenges, all in order to find Geppetto. You won’t get the whole experience, but the demo is available right now. It is available across PC and console storefronts, giving us all a hands on with the first tow chapters. Expect hours of gameplay across the central hub, challenging combat, and an introduction to this world.
While players can pre order the standard and deluxe editions for $59.99 and $69.99 respectively, my interest is piqued by the physical options. Fireshine Games has crafted a slate of physical Deluxe Edition’s for PlayStation®5 (PS5) system, the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. These are also available to pre order but come with a physical copy of the game presented in an exclusive tome-inspired collector’s box, a limited edition SteelBook, an artbook and bonus digital items, including the original soundtrack and “The Great Venigni’s Set” outfit and unique mask to be worn to the festival. Anybody who picks up Lies of P ahead of time will get the “Mischievous Puppet’s Set” as a bonus.
Lies of P has been hotly anticipated since it stormed Gamescom 2022. Melding early 20th century iconography among the shadowy baroque architecture of central Europe make for a fitting backdrop for this adult fairytale. How your story unfolds, is down to you.
