The end of term is normally an upbeat affair, but for fans of Little Witch Academia, it signaled the finale of a brilliant anime series. Now, Bandai Namco and Studio Trigger are offering a something of a summer school for fans, with the release of Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time.
Out now on PC and PlayStation 4, LWA: Chamber of Time is the first video game based on Studio Trigger’s latest phenomenon. The game is set between terms and follows Akko and her friends, Sucy and Lotte, as they stumble upon an unexplored area of the Luna Nova Academy. It kicks off an adventure that takes the three students on a quest to locate the seven wonders and eventually free their school from a mysterious twist in time.
This side-scrolling action RPG is a beautifully authentic recreation of the world that fans will already know, as we found out during our own early impressions. Additional cast members for this game include Diana, Constanze, and Amanda, as well as some gorgeous artwork by the studio behind Kill la Kill and Space Patrol Luluco.
