What: In celebration of International Women’s Day, highlighting women’s achievements in gaming and technology, Logitech, Logitech G, ASTRO Gaming, and Blue Microphones have joined forces with four international women gamers to host a 24-hour multi-city stream fundraiser on March 7 and 8. In honor of the celebration, the stream’s goal is to raise funds for charity: water, an organization focused on bringing clean and safe drinking water to developing countries improving health, education and opportunity – especially for women and children, who spend up to 40 billion hours a year walking to collect clean water.
Who: Logitech, Logitech G, the global leader in PC and console gaming gear, ASTRO Gaming, a leading console gaming brand with a history of producing award-winning headsets for professional gamers and enthusiasts, and Blue Microphones, a 20-year leading innovator in audio technology and design, who are hosting the live stream, will be joined by the following guest streamers playing games and providing commentary: Jess Brohard, LoriiPops, Fuzzy Freaks, and Why so Sara.
Why: To celebrate International Women’s Day, Logitech, Logitech G, ASTRO Gaming and Blue Microphones would like to acknowledge the women who have contributed to gaming. As a part of this celebration, the three brands will host a 24-hour, multi-city live stream to raise funds for charity: water. The goal of charity: water is to bring clean and safe drinking water to developing countries improving health, education and opportunity – especially for women and children, who spend up to 40 billion hours a year walking to collect clean water.
Donations: People will be able to donate money to the foundation during the live stream, and Logitech will match the first $15,000 donated. A $30 donation will bring clean water to an individual for an entire year. And if we hit our $30,000 goal, we’ll be able to bring three full communities clean water!
Where: The stream will be shared on Logitech G’s Twitch Page and TILTIFY, and will feature female gamers and Logitech employees around the world.
When: The 24-hour live stream starts at 2 pm PT on March 7 and concludes at 2 pm PT on March 8th, 2019. The schedule is as follows:
