Amazon Games has confirmed the final dates for recently announced raids and Tier 4 updates coming to Lost Ark.
Arkesian heroes and the rest of us meandering around Indigo Island can plan our adventures a little better now Amazon Games has announced new dates for two massive new boss battles and the expected Tier 4 updates. The publisher behind Lost Ark and New World recently dropped a series of blogs announcing the upcoming roadmap for the MMOARPG. This included a range of new locations, sites, and content. It also detailed new raids that players could prepare for. Now, an update from Friday means we now know the final dates for this content and some changes that weren’t announced previously.
Coming in as the Super Mokoko Express begins to wind down, the first part of the September Update drops on 11 September 2024. This includes the humungous Behemoth Raid. This dragon is now unchained a little earlier than planned. The 16-player encounter arrives as a Tier 3 challenge and has a reduced Item Level requirement to 1620, allowing you to get a head start on the characters you plan on bringing to Tier 4. Behemoth will drop Tier 3 honing materials upon its release, alongside other gold and goodies.
Tier 4 – 9 October
Like the September Raid, the Tier 4 release also gets a date change. Two weeks later than expected, the new adventures in Tier 4 drop. This delay is now set to give the localization teams the time to fully translate the new stories and systems, across all languages. Apart from Behemoth, everything announced for the September Update will now go live on 9 October.
Anybody jumping in will also find that the “Express Servers” are now called Ignite Servers to avoid confusion with Super Mokoko Express passes, which will continue to be a recurring system in Lost Ark. Largely this seems to be aimed at helping funnel new players in and getting them up to speed quickly for the latest big boss battles.
Aegir Raid – 16 October
Finally, the Aegir Raid will arrive on 16 October. An entire week after Tier 4 drops, this 2-gate Raid will require players to face off against dangerous threats, with Akkan returning for a fight in the first Gate. Aegir appearing as your foe in the second Gate. While this should be the firm date, Amazon’s own update seems to reserve the right to push Aegir back again, based on end-game player progression.
