Due in early 2018, today Square Enix announced that its old-school JRPG studio Tokyo RPG Factory is going to be releasing its next title – Lost Sphear. Set in a world that’s disappearing before its people’s eyes, one boy named Kanata must find out what’s happening and where the world is going.
It looks very similar to their previous game, I Am Setsuna in terms of flow and combat. But the setting and sort of modern sci-fi nature of Lost Sphear make it ring out in a completely different tone. We’ll have to wait and see what other tricks it might have up its sleeve.
Lost Sphear is coming to Switch, PS4, and Steam in early 2018.
