LUMO! Yes, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch

The lineup on the Switch is getting better and better, you guys. Rising Star Games is bringing the critically and commercially lauded Lumo to the Nintendo Switch this October. I, for one, cannot wait. It’s a return to the classic isometric platformers of the bygone 8 and 16-bit era. Check out the trailer, and pre-order your copy over here.

From the release:

Videogame publisher Rising Star Games, in collaboration with developer Triple Eh? Ltd. and developer Spiral House, today announced that the acclaimed title Lumo is soon to be available for Nintendo Switch™ digitally via Nintendo eShop and also as a physical retail release. Lumo is currently scheduled for global availability October 2017.

The original PC release currently enjoys a Metacritic score of 77*; the glowing ‘press accolades’ trailer can be viewed here.

Lumo is a contemporary take on the isometric platform genre that will be enjoyed by anyone looking for an absorbing, challenging, and rewarding adventure. For those who lived through the golden age of video games – the ‘80s and early ‘90s – or familiar with the games and culture from that time, there are numerous salutes to the influential gaming period to be discovered and relished in Lumo. With over 400 rooms across four highly stylized zones, six hidden mini-games and all kinds of wonders to uncover, this is a true voyage of discovery.
