Family-friendly fun is about to wag its way onto mobiles as Mac’s World gets set for release on January 2022.
Indie developer Daniel Jooryabi has revealed that gamers of a slightly lower level can look forward to some platforming adventures with Mac next year. Due to release on iOS and Android in January, mac’ World is a colorful new platforming challenge that looks likely to be nothing but fun as players take Mac, an adorable young pup, on a romp through haunted hallways.
With a definite nod to classic adventure platformers like Banjo Kazooie, with a possible nod to the hugely successful Talking Tom series, this single-player 3D adventure pops mac into a particularly haunted mansion. Mac must navigate the maze of corridors that unwind, exploring what lies beyond and surviving the odd encounter. It’s not all ghoulish fun, however. Mac has some help. Rigby the Marvelous Hamster accompanies Mac in this endeavor. The small but mighty friend guides Mac through each level and presents him with challenges along the way.
If players can face the foes that crawl out from this dusty old house, collect some keys, and solve a few puzzles they might just get Mac out of this doghouse and spend some time picking up new companions, customizing Mac’s look, or going back for more time trials. Mac’s World is not the silky smooth blockbuster like Marvel Future Revolution. Instead, this joy fuelled game is the sort of harmless fun that you’ll simply be able to enjoy without having the hassle of wrangling in a healer and a 5G connection.
