Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. Keyboards Are Back

Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E.

Like many Mad Catz peripherals, the S.T.R.I.K.E. keyboard range is a name that might sound somewhat familiar to some of us. Today, Mad Catz brings back the S.T.R.I.K.E brand with two new versions, the S.T.R.I.K.E.4™ and S.T.R.I.K.E.2™.

Shipping right now, both the S.T.R.I.K.E.4™ and S.T.R.I.K.E.2™ accompany the recent addition of G.L.I.D.E. surfaces and R.A.T. mice to the resurgent manufacturer’s lineup. Both entries add something different to the new lineup with both performance and durability in mind.

S.T.R.I.K.E.2

The S.T.R.I.K.E.2 represents an obvious balance between day to day endurance without sacrificing too much high-end performance. Players picking up the S.T.R.I.K.E.2 will find a full size keyboard with a custom designed membrane and 26 key anti-ghosting matrix at its heart. This all sits on a toughened aluminum faceplate designed to withstand even the toughest of gaming sessions. Not only is the durable and spill resistant, but it also includes Chameleon RGB Lighting for those in need of some flashy colors.

S.T.R.I.K.E.4

The next new keyboard to appear from Mad Catz is the S.T.R.I.K.E.4. This particular peripheral represents a substantial step up from the S.T.R.I.K.E.2. With a mechanical design, it comes loaded with Cherry switches, one of the industry’s optimal key manufacturers. The S.T.R.I.K.E.4 features all over anti-ghosting on every single key and individual key lighting, via the F.L.U.X. software platform. This is not all the S.T.R.I.K.E.4 can customize, even the USB report rate can be tweaked using the F.L.U.X. configuration.

With the addition of these two new keyboards, Mad Catz is not just out to make the typing experience more satisfying. They are betting on wider adoption of the company’s own RGB eco system. With 16.8 million colors available to both boards, the F.L.U.X. software allows players to consolidate their RGB obsessions into fewer disparate systems. The Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E.4 and S.T.R.I.K.E.2 are both available now from major retailers across North and South America as well as Europe. Check out the Official Mad Catz website for more information on these devices.
