MapleStory’s trading card game, MapleStory Blitz, gets it’s first major content update with Zakum’s Alter. This update will contain 36 unique cards that will get mixed in with regular card packs, a new dungeon, PVE battles, quests and events, as well as balance to the existing game meta.
MapleStory Blitz takes characters from MapleStory to battle again the Black Mage, a dark entity with evil plans of ruling the Maple World. Check out the trailer here:
At this point, it appears that this update is only available in Southeast Asia and Oceana. There is no word yet as to whether or not MapleStory Blitz or its update will it to the west, so for the time being, you will have to console yourselves with your own maple story… the kind that involved pancakes.
