Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling Mario Kart game ever. The game is selling so well that nearly one out of every two US Switch owner has purchased a copy.

Not only has MK8 sold extremely well, it has also earned high marks from Metacritic including a score of 93%. This makes it the most highly rated Mario Kart game in the series’ history.
Nintendo is enjoying some pretty amazing numbers these days with the Switch selling out nearly the moment it arrives in stores. Worldwide sales include nearly 2.7 million systems out the door.

Other Nintendo news today announces a legal win for the gaming company. In 2011, a company called “RecogniCorp LLC” filed a suit against Nintendo. The cased charged that the creation of Mii characters used its technology. RecogniCorp provides software for police artists to make sketches of suspects.
