Marvel Battle Lines to end service in January

Marvel Battle Lines

Nexon has announced that Marvel Battle Lines will be ending service on January 9, 2020. The company stated that it “simply [was] not in a position to continue delivering the quality content that our players expect” and, as a result, determined that closing the game was best for all. Battle Lines has been available for both iOS and Android mobile devices since October 2018.

As of yesterday, all in-game payment services have been terminated, though players can still make purchases using non-premium currency from any in-game shop. Nexon also announced the termination of all community pages and accounts beginning January 9th.

Developers have plans to provide players with a log-in gift and have several in-game events planned to send players out on a high note.

“Battle Lines has unfortunately reached its endgame, leaving behind incredible cards and uncanny battles. But maybe—just maybe—our heroes and villains will live on in their universe, remembering all the good times they had with you, the players.”
