NetEase and Marvel Games have announced that their PvP shooter, Marvel Rivals, will be released on December 6, 2024 on PC and console. Players will take on the role of either a Hero or a Villain from the Marvel pantheon and duke it out with other players in a PvP battle for dominance. The game will launch as a free-to-play title, and rumors abound that all heroes will be free, though it remains to be seen if villains will also be free.
During Gamescom 2024, developers took to the stage with a new trailer and the release date announcement.
