Been looking for something to fill the void after Marvel Heroes Omega was sadly cancelled? While not the same game format, this mobile game might help you feel somewhat better. FoxNext Games’ mobile game Marvel Strike Force is out today. It’s a free-to-play squad-based action game (think DC Legends) where you can collect over 60 of your favorite Marvel heroes and villains like Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Black Widow, and Crossbones as you stop the Kree warlord Ultimus and his plans to conquer Earth. Take the fight across the globe in over a dozen signature Marvel locations like the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Hell’s Kitchen, and Hydra Lab
The game is an “energy based” game with in-game micro-transactions and is available on iOS and Android now. The initial release has support for Alliances, Raids, Daily Objectives, Daily Login Rewards and Leader boards. Who you bring to the fight also matters. Pair up specific Super Heroes and Super Villains to perform combo moves (as seen in the trailer below) to take out enemies.
