Marvel Strike Force rolls out the X-Men

Marvel Strike Force has been updated to bring the first of three X-Men into the game. First out the gate is Psylocke, the psionic ninja. In the next few weeks, players can also look forward to the arrival of Colossus and Dark Phoenix. These three can join other existing mutants Wolverine and Storm to “compete for prizes and glory on the Alliance War leaderboards”.

Psylocke brings an arsenal of psychic powers including telekinetic blasts and illusions as well as foresight and, of course, her psionic blade.

Colossus possesses super-human strength, stamina, and durability, a must-have for any group. He loves hand-to-hand combat and can stack buffs, increase his companions’ defensives and can even become death proof.

Dark Phoenix also wields telekinesis but pairs it with telepathy. She can fly at supersonic speeds and rearrange the molecular structure of matter and take down enemies with cosmic energy.

MARVEL Strike Force is a free-to-play, squad-based RPG mobile game set in the MARVEL universe, created by FoxNext Games. In MARVEL Strike Force, players join forces with S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury to assemble a team of legendary MARVEL characters, including Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Venom, Star-Lord, Gamora, Daredevil and many more. Turn-based gameplay mechanics allow players to strategically battle the enemies of S.H.I.E.L.D, utilizing each of the characters’ unique abilities and superpowers to strategically defeat opponents. As players rack up achievements, they’re able to unlock new characters to swap into their Strike Force, making for a unique gameplay experience every time they enter the game.
