Be sure to check out our review of the game where we said:

For the competitive fighter fan ready to hone their skills for the next tournament, it’s time to toss your gauntlet in the ring.  For the casual fighter fan on the fence and hoping for an X-Men DLC later on, there is still a lot to love here for you, but nobody would fault you for waiting for a price drop.

Here are the details for the Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite weekend:
  • preloading of the client is already open
  • you can play in Training Mode & in online casual matches
  • all 30 launch characters are available including Spider-Man, Ryu, Doctor Strange and more

For people who already own the game, Venom, Black Widow and Winter Soldier are now available too. These can be purchased separately or are a part of the 2017 Character Pass. Each one comes with a Premium Costume too. The Anti-Venom skin comes out of an Amazing Spider-Man comic. Black Widow’s Cosmonaut Costume is drawn from the Deadly Origin comic series. “James Barnes’ Costume reflects Bucky’s time in training before he became the Winter Soldier.
