Mass Effect Andromeda GM Aaryn Flynn has backtracked on recent statements about the game. A couple days ago, Flynn took to Twitter, to say that MEA featured “softcore space porn”. As Bill Murphy said, “Bow chicka wow wow…”
*sighs*
But is that All Andromeda has?
Bioware has been spending a rather obsessive amount of time speaking about who can be “banged” in space. Put the softcore porn thing alongside it and you can picture giggling teens admiring their cleverness while pressing the “Tweet” button.
Luckily, the community isn’t just focused on the prepubescent moments about space smex. One user took Flynn to task asking, “Why take a brilliant game, ME, and turn it into porn? It’s bound to reduce sales and game rep, not to mention relationships.”
The comments prove that perhaps a bad joke can indeed be pushed too far. As a result, Flynn again took to Twitter to, you know, talk about the game.

Hopefully between now and March 21st, we’ll hear about the parts that matter…not the parts that…er…don’t.
