Ian Frazier, lead designer on Mass Effect Andromeda, shared an interesting bit of information through his Twitter account. He confirmed that players will be able to engage in the game’s single-player mode without Internet connection.
@mhess600 Nope, you can play offline. 🙂

Will Mass Effect Andromeda be free from Origin?
Previous titles of the series required online status in Origin in order to check through installed DLCs. Dragon Age: Inquisition required initial validation at the launch, but could be played offline afterwards. It would be interesting to see if Mass Effect: Andromeda will allow just that or push for more.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action RPG being developed by Bioware. It is set to be released in March 2017 for PC, XBox One and PS4.
