After nearly two years of Epic Games Store exclusivity, EG7 has announced that Piranha Games’ Mechwarrior 5 is finally headed to a variety of other platforms starting May 27, 2021. Players will be able to take part via Steam and GoG as well as new versions coming for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The May release version will also include the first major DLC for the game called Heroes of the Innersphere. It is unclear whether or not this will be included with the base game or if it will be a stand-alone purchase.
