The voices of the Promise Mascot Agency now include Takaya Kuroda, Ayano Shibuya, and some unexpected guests.
Kaizen Game Works just announced the main voice cast or Promise Mascot Agency. Due to leap onto PC and console soon, this maniac blend of discharged Yakuza and freelancing mascots will benefit from a unique arrangement of talent. The voices of talent artists and some special guests will a accompany players when they head to Japan to find work, solve a mystery, and try to build a business empire out of a failed mascot agency.
Revealed in a trailer, Takaya Kuroda plays our main protagonist Michi while Ayano Shibuya as your chaotic partner-in-crime Pinky. Kuroda is better known as Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza: Like a Dragonm, but you’ll also find him in a huge number of anime and the recent trailer for platformer Rusty Rabbit. Ayano Shibuya is better known for her work in the wildly successful Nintendo RPG The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Eri Saito also joins the calamity as your stern but fair boss Matriarch Shimazu.
A few surprise guests are also set to join the cast, including Shuhei Yoshida as game-obsessed kappa mascot MonoGe, and SWERY. The name behind Deadly Premonition, The Good Life, and Spy Fiction will transform into the voice of delinquent-turned-priest mascot Kannushi-kun!
What the Heck is This?
Brought to life by the indie outfit that created Paradise killer, this mascot focused mystery turned business builder is an RPG like no other. Following an unfortunate exile by the Yakuza, the forcibly retired Michi winds up taking on a rather redundant mascot agency in rural Japan. Forced to make a go of it, he tries to recruit new characters, run a business, and uncover the mystery behind his exile. Along the way you’ll need to help him place mascots in gigs and fulfil their dreams, however wretched and stabby they might be. Some want fame. Some want some of that delicious fried chicken from the combini, probably. Once they’re on the books, mascots can be trained and sent out on a variety of jobs to make money, gain experience and spread the name of the Promise Mascot Agency. Be prepared to put out a few fires, and assist the agency using a variety of skill, charm, and influential Hero Cards.
No matter how I describe it, nothing does the game’s chaotic spirit and voice cast justice like the trailer. Check it out, above and head over to the official Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation stores to meet the voices of the Promise Mascot Agency now.
